Same-day collections from Springwood Industrial Estate and Freeport Village. The A120 puts Stansted within reach without touching the M25.
Same-day courier service in Braintree
Tasito provides dedicated same-day courier services across Braintree, including Springwood Industrial Estate on Springwood Drive and around Springwood Court, the Freeport Village retail side and the units along the A120. From trade stock and manufactured goods to pallets, equipment and time-critical parts, we collect directly from your premises and transport the consignment straight to its destination in a vehicle matched to the load.
Braintree is the one location on our network where the A120 is the main road rather than the A12 or the A127, and that single fact changes what is possible from here.
The A120 advantage
The A120 runs west from Braintree to Stansted and the M11, and east to the A12 at Marks Tey.
For most of our Essex patch, getting to Stansted means the M25 to junction 27 and then the M11, which puts you at the mercy of the worst junction between us and anywhere north. From Braintree you go along the A120 and you never touch the M25 at all.
That makes Braintree a useful collection point for anything heading to Stansted for air freight, and it makes a Braintree to Stansted job considerably more reliable than the same distance would suggest.
Galleys Corner is the junction that slows the A120 locally, and the A12 northbound at Witham is the one on the other route.

Where we collect
Springwood Industrial Estate, on Springwood Drive and around Springwood Court, is the main industrial site. Estate road access, yards, forklift loading, comfortable for a Luton.
Freeport Village is the retail side, and it works differently. Retail villages run service yard access with delivery windows rather than open loading, so give us the window and we build the run around it. Deliveries work best before trading gets busy.
The town centre and the smaller units across Braintree cover the rest.

What we carry
Manufacturing and light industrial goods off Springwood, retail stock for the village and the town, and palletised freight moving along the A120 and A12 corridors.

Charges
None. Braintree is Essex, outside the ULEZ and the Congestion Charge. Charges only enter the picture if the delivery address is in London, and we tell you which apply before we set off.

What we send
One pallet in a short wheelbase at 450kg with a 2.1m load space, two standard or three Euro in a medium at 800kg, three standard or four Euro in a long wheelbase at 3.3m, four standard or five Euro in an extra-long at 4.2m, six of either in a Luton at 1,000kg in a 4.2m by 2.0m by 2.1m space.
The curtain-side Luton loads from the side by forklift, which suits Springwood. The box Luton has a tail lift, which is what a retail yard without a dock needs.
Our fleet is FORS accredited and renewed for 2026.
The fleet page has every class and UK pallet sizes explained covers the footprints.

Where Braintree work goes

Braintree questions
The A120 runs west from Braintree straight to Stansted and the M11, so you never touch the M25. From most of our Essex patch a Stansted run means M25 junction 27, which is the least reliable junction between us and anywhere north. From Braintree it is a clear road by comparison.
About twenty-six miles, either up the A130 and A12 or straight up the A131. Across Essex we quote collection inside the hour and Braintree normally sits inside that. Galleys Corner on the A120 is the local pinch point.
Yes, through the service yard and inside whatever delivery window the village gives you. Give us the window at booking. Deliveries work best before trading picks up, and the yard's hours matter more than our 4pm cut-off.
The curtain-side version if there is a forklift, because it opens along the side and loads faster at both ends. The box Luton has a tail lift and is the one for a delivery address with no equipment. Both take six pallets at 1,000kg.
Yes, and it is a sensible route. Braintree sits between the A120 and the A12 so a run taking in Witham or Colchester adds relatively little mileage compared with separate bookings.
Depends on the traffic and which end of Braintree the collection is. The A12 northbound at Witham is the usual problem on one route and Galleys Corner on the other. We pick on the day.
Yes. Give us the postcode and a contact. The lanes around Braintree are narrower than the mapping suggests in places, so an accurate address and a mobile number saves a driver a lot of reversing.
4pm, Monday to Friday. On a twenty-six mile leg that works, though a late booking heading into London runs into the A12 and A13 peaks one after the other.
Send us the postcodes and what is moving. You get a price in seconds and a driver within the hour.
