About this van
The Luton box is the biggest enclosed vehicle in our fleet. A cab at the front and a square-sided box behind it, giving a 4.2m by 2.0m floor with 2.1m of height inside and a payload of up to 1,000kg. That is six standard pallets.
Straight walls, no wheel arches
A Luton body is built over the cab and out to the full width, so the load space is a plain rectangle. No curved roof line, no wheel arches eating into the corners, no taper towards the back. Tall and boxy items stand upright against the wall and stay there, and you get the floor area the measurements say you get rather than most of it.
Six pallets in one run
Six standard pallets go in two rows of three across a 2.0m width. For anyone moving stock between sites, that is often the difference between one booking and two, and the second run is never half the price of the first.
Enclosed and dry
The box is a hard body with rear doors, so the load is covered from collection to delivery whatever the weather is doing. If you need a forklift to load from the side instead of working through the back doors, the curtain side is the same box with curtains along its length.
How we run it
Dedicated from collection to drop, with no depot, no sorting and no transfer. Live tracking on every booking, same-day bookings until 4pm, and FORS approved like the rest of the fleet.
Why choose it
Straight walls
No curved sides or wheel arches in the load space, so tall and boxy items stand upright.
Six pallets, one trip
Room for six standard pallets, so a bigger order goes in one run, not two.
Enclosed and dry
A hard box with a rear door keeps the load covered from collection to drop.
What it suits
- Mixed pallet runs between sites
- Furniture and white goods
- Exhibition and event kit
- Bulky retail and flat-pack stock
