Same-day courier service in Rayleigh
Tasito provides dedicated same-day courier services across Rayleigh, including Rawreth Industrial Estate, Brook Road and the Stadium Way businesses at the Weir. From trade stock and machine parts to pallets, equipment and time-critical consignments, we collect directly from your premises and deliver in a vehicle matched to the load.
Rayleigh Weir decides the whole job, and the useful thing is that a good share of the town's commercial activity sits right on top of it.
Rayleigh Weir, and the businesses on it
The Weir is where the A127 meets the A129 and it is the worst junction on the Southend corridor. In both peaks it backs up, and because the A127 is the only realistic route east from Basildon there is no alternative worth taking.
Stadium Way sits at the Weir and carries a large number of well-known companies alongside the retail park. So a Stadium Way collection is both the easiest address in Rayleigh to find and the one most exposed to the junction. A collection booked for ten in the morning is a fifteen-minute job. The same collection at half eight is not, and anyone quoting the same window for both has not driven it.
Coming down the A1245 from the north avoids the Weir entirely. It is further and in either peak it is usually faster, which makes it one of the few places on our network where the longer road reliably wins.

Rawreth Lane and Brook Road
Rawreth Industrial Estate on Rawreth Lane is the main industrial site, with the smaller units on Brook Road making up most of the rest. Estate addresses with yard access, so a Luton gets in and forklift loading is normal.
If your collection is on the Rawreth Lane side, the A1245 drops us there directly without touching the Weir at all, which is why we often take that route for those jobs even though the mileage is higher.

The town centre
Rayleigh's High Street is retail and professional offices. Loading is restricted through the centre so the van cannot sit and wait, and we need somebody able to hand the consignment over when the driver arrives rather than ten minutes later. For those addresses we come in with a short wheelbase.

What we carry
Trade consignments and palletised goods off Rawreth Lane, retail and office work from the town and Stadium Way, and goods moving west down the A127 towards London or east to Southend.

Charges
None. Rayleigh is Essex. Charges only apply if the delivery address is in London, and we tell you which before we set off.

What we send
One pallet in a short wheelbase at 450kg with a 2.1m load space. Two standard or three Euro in a medium at 800kg. Three standard or four Euro in a long wheelbase at 3.3m. Four standard or five Euro in an extra-long. Six in a Luton at 1,000kg.
For Rawreth Lane the curtain-side Luton loads from the side by forklift. For the High Street we come in small, because a Luton on a restricted loading street is a problem whatever is in the back.
The fleet page has every class.

Where Rayleigh work goes
Southend-on-Sea is six miles further east and the two share a run constantly. Basildon, Wickford and Benfleet are all short hops. London is back down the A127 to the A13.

Rayleigh questions
Rayleigh Weir, where the A127 meets the A129. Off-peak the run is about fifteen minutes. In either peak it is a different journey, and we quote the real window rather than the clear-road one.
Not always, which is why we decide on the day. It avoids the Weir completely, so in either peak it is usually faster despite the extra miles. Off-peak the A127 is quicker. If your collection is on the Rawreth Lane side the A1245 wins more often, because it drops us there directly.
Yes, and it is the easiest address in Rayleigh to find because it sits right at the Weir with the retail park. The flip side is that it is the most exposed to the junction, so the time of day matters more there than anywhere else in the town.
Trade and light industrial units with yard access and forklift loading, which makes it the straightest part of Rayleigh for a van. The curtain-side Luton is the right vehicle there because it opens along the side and loads faster at both ends.
Yes, in a short wheelbase. Loading is restricted through the centre so we cannot wait, and we need somebody ready to take the consignment when the driver pulls up. For a fit-out or anything going inside the unit, book a two-person crew with it.
Yes, and it is the obvious pairing. Southend is six miles further on the same road. Add Benfleet and Basildon and it is a sensible A127 multi-drop rather than four separate bookings.
Rawreth Lane, usually, because the A1245 drops us there without touching the Weir. Stadium Way is easier to find and has the retail park beside it, but it sits right on the junction, so in either peak it is the slower of the two despite being the more obvious address.
4pm, Monday to Friday, which a six-mile collection leg handles easily. Watch the delivery end: a late booking means crossing the Weir and then the A13 in the evening peak, one after the other.
