Industries we move for
Pick your sector below. Every one names the load we usually carry, the vehicle it goes on and how the delivery is proved.
What we move, and what moves it

Construction and engineering courier services
Steel, timber, plant parts and site consumables going to a gate, and machined parts, tooling and finished goods moving between factories and customers. Both halves of this work fail the same way, which is a vehicle arriving at an address that cannot unload it, so we settle the offload at booking.
- Steel, timber and boards
- Plant and machinery parts
- Site consumables and fixings
- Palletised production parts
- Machined and fabricated items
- Tooling going out for repair
- Handling
- Kerbside, forklift or crane-off
- Access
- Site inductions and gate slots
- Longest load
- 4.2m enclosed, 2.7m flat bed

Fashion and retail courier services
Shop fit-out, display units, replenishment stock and samples, moving into retail addresses that take deliveries through a service yard on a booked window rather than off a dock. The window is the job, so we plan the run backwards from it.
- Shop fit-out and fixtures
- Display and point-of-sale
- Replenishment stock
- Hanging garments and samples
- Lookbooks and press kit
- Online order overflow
- Access
- Service yards and booked windows
- Delivery
- To the shop floor, not the yard
- Peak season
- Book early for December

Hospitality and leisure courier services
Kitchen equipment, bar fit-out, furniture, glassware and dry goods going into pubs, restaurants, hotels and venues. These addresses have one thing in common, which is that a delivery arriving during service is a delivery nobody can deal with, so the hour matters more than the mileage.
- Kitchen and bar equipment
- Furniture and fixtures
- Glassware and tableware
- Dry goods and packaging
- Uniforms and linen
- Signage and AV kit
- Timing
- Before service, not during
- Access
- Cellar drops and no loading bay
- Removals
- Old units taken as a separate job
What the people who book us say
Booked at nine, collected by ten, on site before lunch. Our crews are never left waiting on materials.
Fifteen drops, sequenced properly, a POD for every single one. The multi-drop runs just work.
A clear rate up front and the driver rang ahead before collection. That is rare in this trade.
They treat an urgent pallet like it is their own deadline. We stopped shopping around months ago.
Same-day into London twice a week, no fuss and no chasing. The invoice matches the quote every time.
Questions about sector work
The ones we are asked before a first booking. The full list lives on the FAQ page.
Almost certainly. The sectors on this page are the ones we are asked for most often, not the limit of what we carry. What decides a job is the load and the two addresses rather than the industry it belongs to: what is moving, how big and heavy it is, what handling equipment each end has and when it has to arrive. Tell us those four things and we will tell you which vehicle fits and what it costs.
Anything from a single item up to six pallets. The smallest van carries one pallet and 450kg in 2.1m of load space, and the largest body takes six pallets of either footprint with 1,000kg across them, in a space of 4.2m by 2.0m by 2.1m. Lengths that will not pass through a van door travel on the flat bed instead. Send dimensions and individual weights rather than a count of pallets, because the weight limit is usually reached before the floor space runs out.
Less than people expect for a standard van, and more than they expect for anything specialised. Bookings run until 4pm, Monday to Friday, and a same-day collection placed inside that window is realistic across most of Essex. A two-person crew or the temperature-controlled vehicle wants the previous day where you can manage it, because both are allocated to a job rather than kept standing. Call us and we will tell you what is free rather than quote you an average.
Yes, and it splits two ways. Ambient stock, dry goods and packaging travel in an ordinary van like anything else we carry. Chilled and frozen goods go in the temperature-controlled vehicle instead, which is insulated and runs its own refrigeration unit rather than relying on cool boxes. Say which you have when you book, because the two are different vehicles and the cold one is pre-cooled to its setting before anything is loaded into it.
Chilled or frozen, in a vehicle with an insulated body and its own refrigeration unit rather than cool boxes or blankets. Tell us the range your goods have to stay inside when you book and we will confirm before quoting that we can hold it for that journey. Chilled and frozen are different settings and the load space is a single compartment, so a consignment spanning both goes out as two jobs rather than one.
We are based in Essex and work UK mainland wide. Most of what we run is Essex and London, which is what the sector pages on this site are built around, and a dedicated vehicle will go considerably further where the job needs it. On a long run the driver's hours shape the window as much as the mileage does, so if there is a fixed time at the far end, tell us early and we will work backwards from it.
Yes. Every collection carries live status while it is running and proof of delivery once it lands, sent to whoever you name as the account contact rather than left for you to chase. Where a particular person has to sign for it, give us the name at booking and the driver waits for them instead of handing over at a reception desk. If you need a copy for your own records later, ask and we will send it again.
Yes, and once a route settles it is usually the cheaper way to buy it. A recurring run can be booked on a held rate with a set sequence and a known vehicle, rather than priced job by job and rebuilt every week. It also means the vehicle is planned against your dates in advance instead of being found on the morning. Tell us the addresses, the days and the window each stop needs, and we will quote the pattern.
Tell us what you move and how fast it has to get there. We will tell you which vehicle fits and what it costs.
