Fragile time-critical courier across London
Tasito provides dedicated fragile and time-critical courier services across London and the surrounding business areas, including the City, Canary Wharf, Greenwich, Croydon, Enfield, Stratford, Park Royal, Wembley and Hammersmith. From instruments, electronics and screens to glass, finished panels, prototypes and framed work, we collect directly from your premises and take the consignment straight to its destination in a vehicle matched to the item, with the handling agreed before anything is loaded.
Most of what we move into London is office, site and production work, and the address decides the charges, the access and the vehicle. Bookings run until 4pm, and a run booked for mid-morning or just after lunch is usually the steadiest.
The parts of London we collect from
A City address is inside the Congestion Charge zone, access-controlled and often served through a basement bay. Canary Wharf runs booked goods-in slots. Greenwich, Croydon, Enfield, Stratford, Wembley and Park Royal are outside the central zone and generally easier to stop at. Hammersmith is outside it too, though the quickest road there runs through it.
Give us the building as well as the postcode and we will tell you which of those you are dealing with, then send the vehicle that can reach the door.

How the roads and charges work
The Congestion Charge applies only to an address inside the central zone. ULEZ covers every London borough, and any charge that applies to the vehicle is in the price before we go. The Blackwall and Silvertown tunnels are both charged, so a drop south of the river carries a crossing cost as well.
The arterial roads fill from early morning and again from late afternoon, and the tunnel approaches run slowest. Most of them are red routes or have timed loading restrictions, so a named recipient, a floor and a mobile number are what keep the carry short. We set out the route and every charge before we set off.

How the consignment is handled
Your consignment travels on its own, with no co-loading and no depot stop. Screens and panels travel upright and braced, equipment is restrained so it cannot shift, and nothing rests on a finished face. In a basement bay the carry is longer than it looks, so the route from the vehicle to the door is agreed at booking.
We do not pack or build cases. The driver will tell you at your premises if the wrapping is not up to the journey, and an item that needs a case is flagged at booking. Our part ends with the signature from the named recipient at the agreed point.

What we send and what fits
Instruments, cases and single items go in a short wheelbase, which stops where larger vans cannot. Longer pieces go in a long or extra-long wheelbase.
Basement bays in the City and at Canary Wharf usually have height limits that rule out a Luton, so tower work comes in on a long wheelbase, split across two runs where the volume needs it. Anything too long for a doorway goes on the flat bed. The fleet page has dimensions for every class.

Where London work goes
Back out to Essex along the A12 or the A13. Inside London, the pages for the City of London, Canary Wharf, Croydon, Enfield, Greenwich, Hammersmith, Park Royal, Stratford and Wembley cover the access and charges for each area.

Other services we run in London
Same-day courier where the item is sturdy and only the clock matters. Two-man delivery where a delicate item is too large for one person or has to go up to a floor. Multi-drop where several London addresses go on one planned route. Next-day courier for a delicate item that can wait for a morning slot.

London questions
Same-day already means a dedicated vehicle and no depot handling. A fragile booking also fixes the route, the hour, how the item is restrained, who meets the driver and who signs, all agreed before the van moves.
No. Packing and case-making are separate trades. We carry what you hand over, and if the wrapping will not survive the journey, the driver will tell you at your premises before loading.
Only where the address is inside the central zone. Canary Wharf, Stratford, Greenwich, Croydon and Enfield are outside it, and we tell you which side you are on when you book.
The Blackwall and Silvertown tunnels are both charged, and the Dartford route has the Dart Charge. We give you the route and the cost before we go.
In the right vehicle, yes. Height limits keep a Luton out of most of them, so we come in on a long wheelbase and split the load where we have to. Name the building at booking and we check it in advance.
Yes. Give us the company, the floor, the contact name and a mobile number, and the driver waits for that person rather than leaving the item at reception.
Either. The district pages for the City, Canary Wharf, Croydon, Enfield, Greenwich, Hammersmith, Park Royal, Stratford and Wembley cover the access and charges for each area. Send us a postcode and we will tell you what applies.
Mid-morning or just after lunch. The arterial roads are fullest early and late, and a steady run is also an unhurried one at the kerb. Tell us the deadline and we plan the hour round it.
Send us the postcodes and what is moving. You get a price in seconds and a driver within the hour.
