Multi-drop courier service in Harlow
Tasito runs multi-drop rounds across Harlow, covering The Pinnacles and Templefields, Harlow Science Park and the New Frontiers site, and the wider Enterprise Zone. One vehicle and one driver taking the whole list in a single planned sequence.
Harlow does not behave like a general industrial town, and a round here is planned on that basis. A good share of the addresses sit behind controlled access with booked goods-in windows rather than open yards, which changes the order of the day rather than just the paperwork.
The two kinds of stop
Most of the light industrial and manufacturing addresses sit on two estates, The Pinnacles and Templefields. Both are ordinary estate stops with yard access, so a vehicle gets in and the time per drop is short.
The science park and New Frontiers are a different proposition. Access is controlled, goods-in runs to a booked window, and several addresses need a pass issued in advance. Each is a separate admission with its own procedure, so two stops a few hundred metres apart can take very different amounts of time.
On a mixed list that distinction decides the sequence. Tell us which stops are on the gated sites and who the contact is, so we arrive at the right gate with the right paperwork rather than using up your slot at a barrier.

How the round is sequenced
A booked window is a fixed point and everything else is built around it. Where a list has two or three of them, those set the shape of the day and the open-yard stops at The Pinnacles and Templefields fill the gaps between.
Send the whole list rather than a running order. We group it by site and by window, work the gated stops at their times, and use the estate stops as the flexible part of the sequence.
Where the same round repeats, the sequence stops being worked out each week and becomes a schedule, which is both cheaper and more reliable for the sites with windows.

The roads, and the start of the day
Harlow is about 28 miles from us. We run west on the A127, clockwise round the M25 as far as junction 27, then north up the M11 to junction 7. When 27 is blocked the alternative is the A130 and the A12 across to the M11, further in distance and usually quicker in practice.
Junction 27 is the constraint. Delays build there in both peaks and there is no good alternative once a vehicle is committed to it, which is why we choose the departure time rather than inherit it. On a round, an early start protects the last two drops rather than the first one.
The M11 southbound at junction 7 is the other. Where a stop has a freight cut-off rather than a close of business, give us that time and the round is built backwards from it.

Temperature-controlled rounds
Where a stop on the list has a temperature to hold, there is a vehicle for it rather than cool boxes in the back of a van.
The body is insulated and carries its own refrigeration unit, so the temperature is held for the whole journey rather than for part of it. It takes six pallets in 4.2m by 2.0m by 2.1m at 1,000kg, and it runs rounds as readily as single movements. On a dedicated round the doors open only at your stops, which removes the point at which a shared vehicle loses most of its temperature.
Chilled sits between 0 and 8°C, frozen at -18°C or below. Give us the range your goods have to stay within and we confirm we can hold it before the price goes out.
We run one of these and it is allocated rather than held spare, so a round that needs it is worth booking early.

What we send and what fits
A round is sized on the whole load rather than the largest drop, and on a Harlow list the gated stops usually set the ceiling. The 3.3m long wheelbase holds three standard pallets or four Euro, the 4.2m extra-long takes four standard or five Euro, and the Luton carries six of either at 1,000kg in a 4.2m by 2.0m by 2.1m space.
The Pinnacles and Templefields take a Luton without difficulty. Some of the science park addresses receive through a goods entrance rather than a yard, so where a list mixes the two we size for the tightest stop rather than the biggest one.
The box Luton has a tail lift for stops without handling equipment. The fleet page has every class, and UK pallet sizes explained covers standard against Euro. Our fleet is FORS accredited and renewed for 2026.

Harlow questions
Yes, with the site and the contact given at booking. Both control access and run booked goods-in windows, and several addresses need a pass arranged in advance.
No. Send the whole list and we will sequence it. Tell us which stops have booked windows, because those are the fixed points and the rest of the round is built around them.
It depends on how many are gated. A round of estate stops at The Pinnacles and Templefields moves quickly. The same number spread across sites with separate admissions is a longer day.
We go via the A130 and the A12 across to the M11, further in distance and usually quicker. That decision is made before setting off rather than in the queue.
Yes. The refrigerated vehicle holds chilled from 0 to 8°C or frozen at -18°C or below for the length of the journey, and the doors open only at your stops. Tell us the range and we confirm before quoting.
Yes, both have yard access. Where a list also includes a science park goods entrance we size for the tightest stop instead.
Yes. The M11 runs straight down into London, so a drop on the end of a round is far cheaper than a separate booking. Any London charges are set out before we set off.
Yes. Once a list settles, a set schedule at a fixed rate costs less than rebooking the same round weekly, and it suits the sites that work to booked windows.
