Fragile time-critical courier in Park Royal

Tasito provides dedicated fragile and time-critical courier services across Park Royal and the surrounding business areas, including the prop and production houses, the food manufacturing sites, the distribution operators and the repair and maintenance units across the estate. From prop, set and production kit, cameras and lighting to electronics, instruments, screens and the parts a garage is waiting on, we collect directly from your premises and take the consignment straight to its destination in a vehicle matched to the item, with the handling agreed before anything is loaded.

Park Royal is one large industrial district with internal roads that are not always signed the way maps show them, so the first things we ask for are the unit number, the estate name and a mobile. Bookings run until 4pm.

The parts of Park Royal we collect from

The prop and film houses send bulky, awkward and valuable pieces, usually against a production deadline. Food manufacturing sites run goods-in on hygiene procedure and booked windows, and some set conditions on the vehicle, so tell us what is moving and where when you book.

Distribution and logistics operators have docks, forklifts and booked slots, so we need the gate reference at booking. Repair and maintenance businesses send small, urgent parts, which go in the smallest van we run.

How the roads and charges work

We come in on the A40 or down off the North Circular, depending on which end of the district you are on, and both are busy in the peaks. The route is decided on the day, and if traffic changes the plan you get a revised time from us.

Park Royal is inside ULEZ, which covers every London borough, and any charge that applies to the vehicle is in the price before we go. The Congestion Charge does not apply here and there is no river crossing.

How the consignment is handled

Your consignment travels on its own, with no co-loading and no depot stop. Cases are strapped so nothing shifts, set and display pieces are secured on their strong side, and nothing rests on a finished face.

We do not pack or build cases. The driver will tell you at your premises if the wrapping is not up to a run across London, and an item that needs a case is flagged at booking. Our part ends with the signature at the agreed point.

What we send and what fits

Parts and most single items go in a short wheelbase, which stops closer to a unit door than anything larger. Set pieces, display and anything that will not pass a doorway go on the flat bed and come off the side.

A Luton covers bulky loads, with a tail lift on the box body for an address without a dock and a curtain-side that opens along the flank for a forklift. Where the far end needs a second person, they are booked with the vehicle. The fleet page has dimensions for every class.

Where Park Royal work goes

Back to Essex along the A40 and the A12, or on to other London addresses where there is more than one drop. Getting here is the long part of the job, so a second stop in west London adds comparatively little.

Other services we run in Park Royal

Two-man delivery for prop, set and equipment that has to be carried into position. Same-day courier where the item is sturdy and only the clock matters. Multi-drop for several stops across the district on one planned route. Next-day courier where the morning after is soon enough.

Park Royal questions

A unit number, the estate name and a mobile for someone who will answer. The internal roads are not always signed the way maps show them, so a postcode alone can leave a driver one service road short of you.

Yes. Prop and set pieces rarely sit neatly on a pallet, which is what the flat bed is for. Where the piece has to be carried into position, add a second person to the booking.

No. Packing and case-making are separate trades. We carry what you hand over, and if the wrapping will not survive the journey, the driver will tell you at your premises before loading.

Yes. These sites work on hygiene procedure and booked windows. Tell us what the consignment is and any conditions the site sets on the vehicle, because that decides which van we send.

No. Park Royal is outside the central zone. ULEZ covers every London borough, and any charge that applies to the vehicle is in the price before we go.

It is decided on the day. Both are busy in the peaks, and the better one depends on the hour and which end of the district you are on.

Yes. A call time is a fixed point, so we plan the run back from it with time in hand. Give us the time, the gate and a contact.

Yes. Give us unit numbers and a contact for each and we put them in order, with the delicate item loaded last so it comes off first.
