About this van

The SWB is the smallest van in our fleet, and for plenty of jobs it is the right one. A 2.1m by 1.2m load floor, 1.4m of height inside and a payload of up to 450kg. That takes one standard pallet, or roughly fifty A4-sized boxes.

What fits in an SWB

One standard UK pallet sits on the floor with room left to strap it down. Past pallets it carries boxed stock, documents, spares, components and small machinery parts, the sort of load that rattles around in a bigger van. If your load is taller than 1.4m or longer than 2.1m, the MWB is the next size up and takes two to three pallets.

Why size down

Booking a Luton to shift a single pallet is money spent on empty air. The SWB costs less to run and we price it that way. It also reaches places the bigger vans cannot. Narrow residential streets, multi-storey car parks, town centres with width limits and loading bays with a height barrier across the entrance.

How we run it

Every SWB booking is a dedicated run. Your load is the only load on the vehicle, so it goes from your collection straight to your drop with no depot, no sorting and no transfer into another van. You get live tracking from the moment it leaves. Same-day bookings run until 4pm and the van, like every vehicle on our fleet, is FORS approved.

Why choose it

Small and quick

The shortest van we run, so it suits tight streets, loading bays and busy town centres.

Sized for one pallet

No paying for a bigger van when the load is a single pallet or a stack of boxes.

One van, one job

It goes from your collection straight to your drop.

What it suits

  • Documents and small parcels
  • Single pallets
  • Spares and parts
  • Boxed stock

SWB questions

One standard UK pallet, or around fifty A4-sized boxes. The load floor is 2.1m by 1.2m with 1.4m of height inside. If you tell us rough dimensions and weight when you call, we will confirm the right van before you book.

Up to 450kg. That is the weight of the load itself, not the vehicle. Dense items like tooling, tiles or printed stock reach that limit well before the floor fills up, so give us a rough weight as well as dimensions.

Yes, one standard UK pallet at 1200mm by 1000mm. It loads through the rear doors. If the pallet is taller than 1.4m once wrapped, or you have two of them, you need the MWB instead.

Yes. Smaller vehicle, lower running cost, and we price the job on the van it needs. Sending a Luton on a single-pallet run costs you more and gains you nothing, so we will say if a smaller van does the job.

Yes, with bookings running until 4pm. How quickly we can be with you depends on where the nearest available van is sitting and what the roads are doing. Call us on 01277 549010 and we will tell you what is achievable.

Yes. We are based in Essex and work across London and the South East, with dedicated runs going UK mainland wide. A long-distance job in an SWB is perfectly normal, it just needs planning around the driver's day.
