Same-day courier service in Epping

Tasito provides dedicated same-day courier services across Epping and the wider district, including the North Weald Airfield employment site and the offices and professional firms in the town itself. From urgent documents and trade stock to pallets, equipment and time-critical parts, we collect directly from your premises and deliver in a vehicle matched to the load. Epping sits outside the ULEZ by one boundary, with the M11 alongside it.

Two things make an Epping job worth understanding before you book: where the industrial work sits, and which side of a charging boundary you are on.

North Weald, and where the units are

Epping town itself is offices, professional firms and a high street. The industrial and warehousing capacity in this part of the district sits outside the town.

North Weald Airfield, a few miles east, is the significant one. The parade ground and extension there are allocated for business, general industrial and warehousing and distribution use, which makes it the only proper distribution-scale site in the immediate area. Thornwood, just north of Epping on the B1393, carries smaller commercial and industrial units.

If your collection is at an Epping postcode but the unit is at North Weald or Thornwood, say so, because the approach is different and in the case of North Weald it is a site with its own internal roads rather than a street address.

For small workshop work, Loughton next door has Oakwood Hill and Rectory Lane. For anything at distribution scale, Harlow up the M11 has the Pinnacles and Templefields.

One boundary outside the ULEZ

Epping sits in the Epping Forest district, in Essex, outside the Ultra Low Emission Zone. The district council formally objected to the ULEZ expansion when it was consulted, which tells you how close the line runs, but outside is outside.

So a delivery to an Epping address carries no ULEZ charge and no Congestion Charge. Cross into London and both become live: ULEZ at £12.50 a day for a non-compliant van across every London borough, and the Congestion Charge at £18 a day in the central zone since 2 January 2026.

That makes the boundary worth knowing about if you have any choice over where goods are received. If you are shipping from Epping into London we tell you which charges the delivery leg picks up before we go.

Junction 27 both ways

M25 junction 27 is the constraint and it goes in both peaks, with no alternative once you are committed to it. The A121 linking Epping to Loughton is slow and has no parallel route.

The compensation is reach. From junction 27 the M11 north to Harlow and Stansted and the M25 in either direction are immediately available, so an onward run from an Epping collection picks up very little extra mileage. For a job that starts here and finishes a long way north, that is a real saving.

What we send

For town addresses, the smaller end: a short wheelbase at 450kg with a 2.1m load space, or a medium at 800kg taking two standard or three Euro pallets.

For North Weald and the larger units the full range applies. Three standard or four Euro pallets in a long wheelbase at 3.3m, four standard or five Euro in an extra-long at 4.2m, six in a Luton at 1,000kg. The box Luton has a tail lift where there is no forklift, and the curtain-side loads from the side where there is.

Our fleet is FORS accredited and renewed for 2026. The fleet page has every class.

Where Epping work goes

London down the M11 or the A12, where the charging question lands. Harlow and Stansted north on the M11. Loughton is next door on the A121. Brentwood is round the M25 to junction 28.

Epping questions

Not in the town. North Weald Airfield a few miles east is the main site, allocated for business, general industrial and warehousing and distribution, and Thornwood north of the town has smaller commercial units. Epping itself is offices, professional firms and a high street.

No. Epping is in the Epping Forest district in Essex, outside the ULEZ. The district council objected to the expansion when consulted, which shows how close the line sits, but the charge does not apply here and nor does the Congestion Charge.

Both become live. ULEZ is £12.50 a day for a non-compliant van across every London borough, and the Congestion Charge is £18 a day in the central zone since 2 January 2026. We tell you which applies to your specific address at booking.

It does. North Weald is a few miles out with its own internal site roads rather than a street address, so we need the unit and a contact rather than a postcode. Tell us at booking and the driver arrives in the right place.

A lot, and there is no way round it. It goes in both peaks and it is the only sensible approach from our side. A mid-morning Epping collection is a comfortable job and the same collection at half eight is not.

Yes, which is the compensation for junction 27. From here the M11 to Harlow and Stansted and the M25 in both directions are immediately available, so an onward leg adds very little mileage compared with starting further east.

Slow, and there is no parallel road. It is the link between Epping and Loughton and in heavy traffic or bad weather a loaded van makes poor progress on it. We allow for that rather than pretending otherwise.

4pm, Monday to Friday. On a twenty-two mile leg that is workable, though a late booking means crossing junction 27 in the evening peak, which is the slowest version of this run.
