About this van
The Luton curtain side has the same body as the Luton box. A 4.2m by 2.0m floor, 2.1m of height and a payload of up to 1,000kg, which is six standard pallets. What changes is how the load gets on and off.
Loading from the side
The curtains run the full length of the body and pull back, so a forklift drives up and places pallets straight onto the bed. Nothing has to be walked in through rear doors, turned, or dragged down the length of a box, which is where time goes and where pallets get damaged.
Why that matters at a bay
On a palletised run the loading is usually the slow part rather than the driving. Side access turns a twenty minute load into a few minutes at each end. On a job with several collections, or a goods-in queue at the far end, that saved time is what keeps the delivery window honest.
Same capacity as the box
Six standard pallets, up to 1,000kg, 4.2m by 2.0m by 2.1m. If your goods need to stay fully enclosed behind a hard side, or the load is bulky rather than palletised, the Luton box is the one to book.
