Two-man delivery in Epping
Tasito provides dedicated two-man delivery services across Epping and the surrounding business areas, including North Weald Airfield, the smaller units at Thornwood on the B1393, and the offices, professional firms and high street in the town. From office furniture and equipment to awkward single items, a crew of two travels with the vehicle and carries each item in and positions it on the floor it is going to, with the access agreed before anything is loaded. With Epping around twenty-two miles from our Essex base via the M25, we are well placed for crewed deliveries into the town and onward runs into London and up the M11.
The industrial units sit outside the town and most crewed deliveries finish inside it, in offices with no dock and often an upper floor. Bookings run until 4pm, Monday to Friday.
The parts of Epping we collect from
North Weald Airfield is the main site, allocated for business, general industrial and warehousing and distribution use, and it works on internal site roads rather than street addresses. Smaller commercial and industrial units sit at Thornwood, just north of the town on the B1393. If the postcode reads Epping but the unit is at North Weald or Thornwood, tell us, and give us the unit and a contact.
The town is offices, professional firms and a high street, with no dock, no forklift and frequently an upper floor. That is where most crewed work here finishes, so we agree a time and take a mobile number for whoever is letting the crew in.

How the roads behave
M25 junction 27 is busy in both peaks, and the A121 towards Loughton is slow with no parallel route. Mid-morning is usually the easiest time, so with notice we choose the hour for a crewed delivery.
Epping is in Epping Forest district, outside ULEZ and the Congestion Charge. If the delivery goes into London, the charges for that address apply, and we include them in the price with the route.

How the consignment is handled
The crew carries each item off the vehicle, through the door and up the building, and positions it where you want it. Packaging goes back with us where that was agreed at booking.
Assembly, installation and clearing old furniture are separate work, so tell us when your fitter is due if they need to follow the crew in. Give us the floor, the lift and its internal depth, the tightest doorway and the longest item, and where there is no lift, the number of flights and the tightest turn.

What we send and what fits
In the town we send a short or medium wheelbase, which stops nearer the door where the carry starts. At North Weald and the larger units any vehicle in the fleet can be used.
Where the receiving end has a forklift the curtain-side Luton loads from the side, and where it has none the box Luton brings a tail lift. Anything a doorway will not take goes on the flat bed. The fleet page has dimensions for every class.

Epping questions
Call and we will tell you what is free. Booking the previous day secures it, and on a twenty-two mile leg with junction 27 in the middle it also buys you the better hour.
Outside it. The main site is North Weald Airfield, a few miles east, carrying an allocation for business, general industrial and warehousing and distribution use, with smaller commercial units up at Thornwood. The town is offices, professional firms and a high street.
It does. Internal site roads rather than street addresses are how North Weald works, so the unit and a contact is what we want in place of a postcode. Say so at booking and the crew lands in the right place.
No. Carried in and positioned where you want it. Assembly and installation are a separate trade, so tell us when your fitter is due if they have to follow the crew in.
The delivery address decides it. Tell us the item, the floor it is going to and how it gets in, and we will tell you which you need at booking.
No. The town sits in the Epping Forest district, in Essex, beyond the ULEZ boundary, and no Congestion Charge applies here either. Take the delivery leg into London and ULEZ applies to a non-compliant vehicle, with the Congestion Charge on top in the central zone, and we say which at booking.
A lot, with nothing to be done about it. It fills in both peaks and remains the only sensible approach from our side, so the collection hour gets set against the receiving window rather than the reverse.
Yes. Give us the unit and a contact at North Weald, and the floor and the way in at the town address, and both ends are settled at booking.
Send us the postcodes and what is moving. You get a price in seconds and a driver within the hour.
