Fragile time-critical courier in Brentwood
Tasito provides dedicated fragile and time-critical courier services across Brentwood and the surrounding business areas, including Childerditch Industrial Park, the High Street, Warley, Hutton, West Horndon and Hallsford Bridge at Stondon Massey. From instruments and electronic assemblies to glass, finished panels, prototypes and display pieces, we collect directly from your premises and take the consignment straight to its destination in a vehicle matched to the item, with the handling agreed before anything is loaded. With Brentwood around nine miles from our Essex base, we are well placed for quick local collections and onward delivery into London, across the South East and throughout the UK.
Most of what we move out of Brentwood is business-to-business: machine parts and panels from the estates, and instruments, display work and single items from the town centre offices and shops. Bookings run until 4pm.
The parts of Brentwood we collect from
Childerditch Industrial Park is the main industrial site, with access straight off the A127 and most units loading from a yard, so the van comes in off the main road without going through the town. West Horndon Industrial Estate, Hallsford Bridge at Stondon Massey and the Warley starter units cover the rest of the industrial side.
The High Street works differently. Loading is restricted along most of it, so the van cannot stand and wait. We send a smaller vehicle and want the item ready, with a mobile number for the person handing it over. Addresses in Hutton and Shenfield are collected the same way.

How the roads behave
Junction 28 of the M25 is close by, and when it backs up the queue reaches both the A12 and the A127. The A127 also slows at the Brentwood and Dunton junctions in the peaks, so the same nine miles is a short run mid-morning and a much longer one at eight.
Brentwood is in Essex, so no London charges apply at this end. Where the delivery is in London, the Congestion Charge applies only in the central zone and ULEZ covers every borough, and any charge on your delivery leg is in the price before we set off.

How the consignment is handled
Your consignment travels on its own, with no co-loading and no depot stop on the way. Panels and glazed sheets stand upright and braced, long pieces are supported along their full length, and anything with a finished face has nothing placed on it. If an instrument has a tolerance, mention it at booking, because it changes how the item is restrained.
We do not pack or build cases. If the wrapping will not survive the journey, the driver will tell you at your premises before anything is loaded, and an item that needs a case built is flagged at booking. Our part ends with the signature at the agreed point.

What we send and what fits
Mostly the smaller vans. Instruments, boxed assemblies and single pieces go in a short wheelbase, which also stops closest to a High Street door, and panel work goes in a long or extra-long wheelbase where length is the issue.
The Childerditch units take a Luton easily, and the box Luton's tail lift covers a delivery address with no forklift. Town centre addresses rarely take a Luton at all, so the vehicle is matched to the address as much as the item. The fleet page has dimensions for every class, and UK pallet sizes explained covers the standard footprints.

Where Brentwood work goes
Most of it goes into London, either along the A127 and down the A13 or round the M25, depending on the postcode. North, the A12 runs past Shenfield to Chelmsford, and Billericay is a short run east. For Harlow and Stansted, it is the M25 to junction 27 and then the M11.

Other services we run in Brentwood
Same-day courier where the item is robust and only the timing matters. Two-man delivery where a town centre address has no yard and the piece needs two people. Multi-drop for a planned run of drops from Childerditch. Next-day courier where the item is delicate and tomorrow morning is soon enough.

Brentwood questions
Same-day gives you a dedicated vehicle and no depot handling. A fragile booking also settles the handling before the van moves: how the item is secured, who meets the driver, who signs, and what happens if the packaging looks wrong at collection.
No. Packing and case-making are separate trades. We carry what is ready at your door, and if the wrapping will not survive the journey, the driver will tell you there.
Childerditch is around nine miles from our base, with access straight off the A127. Off-peak it is a short run. In the morning peak the A127 at Dunton and Brentwood adds to it, and we quote the time it will take.
Yes. Have the item ready and give us a mobile number for whoever is handing it over. Loading is restricted along most of the High Street, so we send a smaller van and time the arrival.
It can. When junction 28 backs up, the queue reaches both the A12 and the A127, so we allow for it in the window and pick the hour with you.
Yes. It is the M25 to junction 27 and then the M11. Give us the cut-off at the far end and we plan the run back from it.
Almost certainly. The estate loads from yards and the units take a Luton without difficulty. For a delicate load we often send a smaller van anyway, because it gets nearer the door and shortens the carry.
Enough for a short conversation about the item, the access and the signature. On a nine-mile run that is often all the notice needed, and we will tell you what is free. A two-person crew or a temperature-controlled job needs more notice.
Send us the postcodes and what is moving. You get a price in seconds and a driver within the hour.
